Pennsylvania Power Company (Penn Power) Customer Appreciation Golf Outing 
August 25, 2008

Please join us Monday, August 25, 2008, for the 2nd Annual Penn Power Customer Appreciation Golf Outing. As a thank you for your business, we are inviting all Penn Power commercial and industrial customers to join us for a complimentary day of golf at the New Castle Country Club, located at 511 Country Club Drive, New Castle, PA 16105.

Duquesne Light (DLCO) Customer Appreciation Riverboat Cruise
September 12, 2008

    3rd Annual Northern Ohio Energy Management Conference
    September 30, 2008

    The 3rd Annual Northern Ohio Energy Management Conference is coming up on Tuesday, September 30th at the John S. Knight Convention Center in Akron, Ohio. FirstEnergy Solutions will again be the luncheon sponsor and we are pleased to have so many FirstEnergy Corp. representatives presenting at the conference.     Attend the conference and receive valuable insights into SB 221, Ohio's landmark energy reform law.     4. Lou D’Alessandris, FirstEnergy Solutions Corp. - Senior Market Analyst and Manager of the SmartWind Renewable Energy Product will present an Energy Jeopardy session, a fun and exciting way to learn the basics of electricity and natural gas. Additionally, Lou will present for a second time in conjunction with Mike Kovach, The E Group, a FirstEnergy Company - Product Manager, Energy Demand Management Practice. Lou and Mike will discuss the topic of green power. Attend this session to determine if green power is important for your business, to view what the options are for "going green" as an Ohio manufacturer or business, and to learn more about ENERGY STAR® benchmarking.
    5. Craig Truesdell, FirstEnergy Solutions Corp. - Director, Electric Term Trading and Forecasting, will discuss electric pricing. Receive valuable insights into factors impacting your electric bill and what to expect in the future.
