History

FirstEnergy Solutions Corp. was incorporated in 1997 as the unregulated subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp. Since that time FirstEnergy Solutions has grown and now offers products and services in Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

Since 1998, FirstEnergy Solutions has supplied energy-related products and services to diverse markets, including education, retail, commercial real estate, hospitality and restaurant, government, health care, and industrial.
