We offer two main categories of electric generation products, fixed-price and variable-price. We also offer three electricity product generated from renewable resources -SmartWind™, MixedGreens™, and FirstGreens™.

Ideal for customers looking for budget certainty, fixed-price products eliminate exposure to market volatility by locking in a pre-determined price per kilowatt-hour (kWh) consumed over the life of the contract.

Fixed-price
Locks in a price for a pre-determined price per kilowatt-hour (kWh).

PriceLess
A fixed price product that allows a customer to exercise a single option in the case of a reduction in market prices.

PriceLess with PerfectStrike
A fixed price product that automatically changes to the lowest price during the option window.

Variable-price products are based on real-time market prices, allowing customers to take advantage of lower-priced power during off-peak periods. 

Variable Locational Marginal Price (LMP) + adder with trigger option
A variable priced product based on real time market prices where the customer can switch to a fixed price without penalty.

Electric generation is purchased in a fixed block (both time and quantity) at a fixed price. Generation consumed outside the block is billed at LMP plus an adder.   

Variable locational Marginal Price (LMP) + adder
A rate per kWh based on real-time market prices.

SmartWind™ is produced in the Mid-Atlantic region by wind farms contracted to FirstEnergy Solutions.

MixedGreens™
MixedGreens™ is produced from a combination of affordable renewable energy resources, located throughout the United States.

FirstGreens™
FirstGreens™ is a product produced by wind farms throughout the United States. FirstGreens™ is the ideal choice for your Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified building.
